Gear up for another (bigger) snow ❄️
Winter is fully upon us! Most of us have been wishing for a good snow day. I was dreaming of a white Christmas, but I guess I’ll settle for a white National Houseplant Appreciation Day instead.
The majority of schools have already been cancelled, so your kids’ Christmas break feels that much longer. If your work or school is open, please drive safe! Multiple wrecks have already been reported.

Joplin School Board Approves Phase 1 of Facility Projects ✏️
According to the school district, the projects are geared toward addressing educational suitability, intensive programs and early childhood expansions. The district has identified over $20 million in projects, but they’re going to focus on three buildings (Jefferson Elementary, Royal Heights, McKinley Elementary) for phase 1, which comes out to about $9.5 million that will be funded by capital outlay reserves.
