🎉 Rise Fitness Hosts Ribbon Cutting in Webb City

Rise Fitness is officially opening its Webb City location at 321 S. Hall St., and you’re invited to celebrate! The ribbon cutting with the Webb City Area Chamber of Commerce will take place on Wednesday, October 29 at 1:00 PM.

Rise Fitness continues to expand its reach across the Four States with additional locations in Carl Junction, Carthage, Baxter Springs, Grove, and Neosho — each offering a supportive environment to help you reach your fitness goals.

🏗️ Ewert Park Breaks Ground on Major Renovation

Splash park, ice ribbon, amphitheater, and more coming soon to East Joplin

City officials and East Town neighborhood leaders are inviting the public to a groundbreaking ceremony for Ewert Park’s renovation at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 28 at 846 Murphy Blvd.

The 14-acre park will soon feature exciting upgrades for year-round enjoyment — including a splash park, ice ribbon for skating, new playground and basketball courts, an amphitheater, and historical markers celebrating the park’s rich history.

If it rains, the ceremony will be held under the pavilion near the main parking lot. If the weather is clear, attendees can find the event just south of the aquatic center building on the basketball courts. Both locations are easily accessible from the main parking lot off Murphy Boulevard.

The project, led by Joplin Parks and Recreation Director Paul Bloomberg and a committee of citizens and city staff, represents a major step toward revitalizing one of Joplin’s most historic and beloved parks. City officials and community members will be available for interviews following the ceremony.
