Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt 🐰 

Hop into the night with Joplin Parks and Recreation’s Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt—an after-dark adventure that puts a glowing twist on a classic tradition! On April 11, 2025, kids ages 3–10 can join the fun at 3301 W 1st St, Joplin, MO, where the eggs don’t hide—they glow.

Here’s what to expect:

• 🧺 Flashlight Egg Hunt – Starts when the stadium lights go dark!

• 🎒 Prize Bags – Every child goes home a winner

• 🏰 Bounce Houses & Refreshments – Starting at 7:30 PM

• 💡 BYO Flashlight & Glow Gear – The brighter, the better!

Cost is just $5 per child, and space is limited to the first 70 kids per age group. Pre-registration is required by 5:00 PM on April 11—no walk-ups allowed. Because finding eggs in the dark isn’t just fun... it’s egg-stra thrilling!

Food Truck Friday in Central Park 🌮 

Get ready to kick off the 2025 season of Food Truck Fridays with a feast of epic proportions! On select Fridays this year, Central Park in Carthage transforms into a foodie's paradise, complete with tasty eats, toe-tapping tunes, and fun for the whole family.

Here’s what’s details:

• 🍕 All-Day Food Trucks – From savory street eats to sweet frozen treats

• 🎶 Live Music – 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM—bring a chair, grab a plate, and vibe out

• 👨‍👩‍👧 Family-Friendly Fun – Everyone’s welcome (especially your appetite)

Spring Fling Shopping Event 🛍️ 

Get ready to shop ‘til you hop—just in time for Easter! The Carthage Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Spring Fling Shopping Event on April 11th & 12th across Carthage, MO.

Shopping passports will be available to visit all participating merchants and be eligible for prizes and discounts. It’ll be a great opportunity to connect with local businesses and shoppers alike.

Downtown Webb City Sip & Shop 🍷 

Wine lovers and boutique browsers, rejoice! The Downtown Webb City Alliance and Christine’s Vineyard are teaming up for the return of the Sip & Shop series—your perfect excuse to sip fine Missouri wines while strolling through the charming historic district of downtown Webb City.

Here’s the info:

• 🗓️ When: 2nd Thursday of each month, April through September

• ⏰ Time: 4:30–8:00 PM

• 📍 Where: Downtown Webb City

• 🎟️ Tickets: $20 in advance / $25 day-of

• 🛍️ Pick-Up: Confetti Events, 201 N. Main (valid ID required)
